Ruban
A *ribbon* unfolds, without break, without seam, in one continuous gesture. A single *band of metal,* folded, curved, held in tension. The ribbon *lifts,* grazes the floor, pulls away from it. It traces *the void* as much as it draws the material. It moves apart, turns back, stretches, and in this movement creates *balance.* Each *curve* is a transition. Each *inflection,* a breath. Between *rigor and suppleness,* a duality takes hold: taut line, organic gesture. A single *continuity,* like a silent thread, everything is connected.
