Ruban A *ribbon* unfolds, without break, without seam, in one continuous gesture. A single *band of metal,* folded, curved, held in tension. The ribbon *lifts,* grazes the floor, pulls away from it. It traces *the void* as much as it draws the material. It moves apart, turns back, stretches, and in this movement creates *balance.* Each *curve* is a transition. Each *inflection,* a breath. Between *rigor and suppleness,* a duality takes hold: taut line, organic gesture. A single *continuity,* like a silent thread, everything is connected.
Ambivalence A study in *contrast* Ambivalence explores *the tension* between strength and softness, mass and lightness, sharp lines and organic forms. *Opposing languages* meet in each piece, creating a balance that is both sculptural and welcoming. *Table* A monumental base in sculpted, faceted oak, almost brutalist in expression, supports a lighter top with organic lines, in enameled lava stone. Its open form lets *the light* through and reveals the mineral structure. *Mass and lightness* find their balance.
Roots Roots tells how *a core* takes shape: slowly, through fractures, trials and passages of life. *Stone and wood* move forward together, sometimes in contrast, sometimes in echo, like two forces that protect each other as much as they respond to one another. Their meeting draws an unpredictable, organic, almost subterranean line: that of *roots,* of what anchors itself deeply and does not give way. Roots is a table that carries *this silent duality:* apparent fragility, and the inner strength that emerges from it.
